A letter from the founder

I grew up in a small town — the kind where my grandpa’s barbershop was the theater district, the newspaper, and the town hall all in one chair. The characters in that shop were bigger than anything in my books. Almost. Books still won, because books had cyclones. I rode one to Oz. I chased monkeys through the river bottoms. I walked the long lane to Green Gables. A different world at every age — that was my favorite thing about books: I never needed a ticket to go absolutely anywhere.

Later I fell in love with games, too — and I always wished for the thing neither books nor games could quite give me: to actually step inside the story. To have the world notice I was there. I believe AI is finally making that possible — and I believe it can be done with care, to the bar of the books we grew up on.

So our family built a publishing house. My husband, an architectural designer who fell head-over-heels for AI image generation, designs how our worlds look. Our nine-year-old is our first reader and our loudest what-if — what if the story does this? what about that character? — the questions that keep our worlds growing. And she gets to watch a company get built at the kitchen table, and learn that new technology is something you explore and shape.

What I want for her — and for your reader — is simple: a safe place to get wonderfully lost. No ads, no feeds, no agendas. Just characters worth loving, worlds worth wandering, and stories with room inside them for your child’s imagination.

Wonderland’s door is open. And every child who walks through it reads a different book.
